^Conservationist wants better protection for imperiled trout<

     MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) _ The co-founder and former director of the
Alliance for the Wild Rockies says he wants to educate the public
about how to better protect imperiled trout and their watersheds.

     Mike Bader says anglers often misidentify sensitive species as
the fish‘s more commonplace cousins.

     In particular, bull trout and westslope cutthroat trout are
often identified as rainbow, brown and brook trout.

     Bader says his initiative would coordinate existing education
programs offered by public agencies, conservation groups and
classroom educators.
