GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) _ A 27-year-old man has been charged
with negligent homicide in the death of a Great Falls man more than
three years ago. Great Falls police detectives traveled to Salem,
Oregon, to arrest Andrew Perry. He‘s charged in the death of
46-year-old Michael Romanchuk. Police found Romanchuk dead at home
with a single gunshot wound to the head.
BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) _ A settlement has been reached between St.
Vincent Healthcare and a family that sued, after their daughter
suffered serious medical problems during birth. Blake and Jennifer
Jaeger filed the lawsuit in 2006 after their second twin was born
with permanent brain damage. Terms of the settlement were not
released.
MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) _ The co-founder and former director of the
Alliance for the Wild Rockies says he wants to educate the public
about how to better protect imperiled trout and their watersheds.
Mike Bader says anglers often misidentify sensitive species as
their more commonplace cousins.
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) _ He‘s gained fame as a sled dog race
champion, but Lance Mackey seems to enjoy getting behind the wheel
almost as much as he likes mushing. In Anchorage, Mackey drove off
in a bright blue Dodge Charger, part of his winnings from this
year‘s 1,100-mile Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race in Alaska. He chose
the muscle car over the traditional pickup awarded to the winner.
