DILLON, Mont. (AP) _ A former Beaverhead County commissioner has
been sentenced to two months in prison for violating the terms of
her probation in a drug case.

Donna Sevalstad received a three-year deferred sentence in 2005
for felony possession of methamphetamine.

Beaverhead County Attorney Marv McCann said a district judge
found that Sevalstad had violated the terms of her probation by
using meth and alcohol and violating travel restrictions.

District Judge Doug Harkin of Missoula sentenced Sevalstad
Tuesday to five years with the Department of Corrections with all
but 60 days suspended. She will serve that time at the Montana
Women‘s Prison in Billings, where she will be screened for a
treatment program.
