Three Frontier Conference players in all-star game
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (AP) _ Three Frontier Conference football
players are scheduled to play in an NAIA all-star football game
later this month.
Carroll College cornerback and kicker Marcus Miller is scheduled
to play in the Victory Sports Network Senior Classic. Also on the
``Nationals‘‘ roster are Montana Western teammates, running back
and wide receiver Kaleo Igarta and safety Albert Distajo.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. on April 19th in
Platte City, Missouri.

MEN‘S GOLF TOURNEYS
Men‘s golf tourneys scheduled for late July, late August
BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) _ The schedules are set for key Montana
men‘s golf tournaments this summer.
The 91st Montana State Men‘s Amateur Championship is scheduled
for July 24th through the 27th at Riverside Country Club in
Bozeman. Josh Hedge of Billings is the three-time defending
champion.
The 22nd Montana State Mid-Amateur is set for August 19th
through the 21st at Whitefish Golf Course. Chris McConnell of
Billings is the two-time defending champion of the tournament,
which is for golfers age 30 and over.
And the 51st Montana State Seniors tournament will be played
August 5th through the 7th in Anaconda and Butte.

WOMEN‘S AMATEUR
Women‘s amateur golf slated for Laurel in July
BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) _ The Laurel Golf Club will host the
Montana State Women‘s Amateur golf championship this summer.
The tournament will be played July 22nd through the 24th.
Rachel Warren plans to defend her title. She is a senior at
Rocky Mountain College in Billings.
